Unless you tell people on your own, no one will really notice the change being unnatural. After the procedure, the hair growth takes time; you’ll probably have to be under the loop until they are fully grown. There are no visible signs such as scars etc. only slight redness that stays for 2-3 days and starts diminishing thereafter.

One of the most frequently asked questions in our patients’ initial consultation is ‘where does the hair come from for hair transplants? For FUE, the donor hair for a transplant comes directly from another area on the same head. So it is not just natural-looking, it is completely natural, authentic and individual hair. FUE hair transplant or Follicular Unit Excision is where individual hair grafts are harvested directly from the donor area, usually a broad area of the back of the scalp where hair loss does not usually occur.

During your initial consultation, the physician will determine which transplantation method is best for you based on your hair loss classification, the size of the thinning area, quality and quantity of your available donor hair. For example, if the patient has severe hair loss and bald patches are too wide to be covered, he/she will be a better candidate for the FUE technique.
